RES 512 Dissertation

Module Description: The aim of the dissertation is to give students an opportunity to focus in depth on one aspect of finance and risk management, and to allow them to demonstrate their skills to the course assessors and to potential employers.
Students are required to define clearly the research questions, discuss the rationale for such questions and the expected results, describe the methodology and the data sources they are going to use.
The dissertation is supervised individually and assessed based on a written dissertation of 15,000 (+/-10%) words supported by a mandatory 20-minute viva.
