Department: BSc in Computer Science (Elective for CS-SE&AI)
Module Description: This module emphasizes the development of students' research and writing skills in order to produce high-impact research. The module will enhance their search skills and teach them how to decide on a reliable resource while following the life cycle of an indexed journal. The student will use a triangular design that includes: T1: systematic Literature Review, T2 and T3: developing the research question, aims (research focus & sequences), and T4: conducting full length research (novelty cycle) based on the theoretical approaches that were used in the design. It also discusses how to publish research findings at high impact factor journals that are required by the industrial community. This is the reason why it is so important to increase student proficiency at this level. Lastly, this course provides a view of intellectual property and international competitions in order to assist students in commercializing their research findings.
