FINAL LIBRARY SUBMISSION OF DISSERTATION / THESIS
Library submission of your thesis / dissertation must be done to attain your graduation clearance. Students should submit the final version to BSpace which is the online institutional repository of the British University in Dubai.
If your dissertation has been marked and you have done all the required changes provided by your supervisor, then you are ready for this 'submission process'.
Stage 1: Formatting Based on BUiD Standard
Please use the below templates for thesis / dissertation submission.
It is highly recommended that you read through all notes before altering the template. Any submission that is not in the standard format will be rejected.
This template provides a complete structure for writing a doctoral thesis and master’s dissertation. It has the preliminary pages, preset headings styles, margins, sections breaks, and numbering as per the university standard.
Stage 2 – Submission on Bspace
You can proceed with stage 2 after your dissertation / thesis is approved and graded by your supervisor.
After the submission, the format will be checked by the library if it conforms to the university standards. The document will be reviewed again by the supervisor for the final approval.
NOTE: Non-compliance on the format will be rejected.
This submission may take 48 hours to complete the process. If the submission meets the standards and has been approved by your supervisor, you will receive the approval notification email.
