Module Description: This module aims to provide students an understanding of the rationales and development of intellectual property laws and familiarise them with current trends and developments in the field of intellectual property. The module covers the history and rationale of intellectual property rights, the UAE national intellectual property regime relating to copyright, trademarks and patents, the international intellectual property system and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
