Module Description: The aim of the module is to consider the appropriateness and effectiveness of management accounting information as used for decision making and control purposes in organisations and to critically evaluate the contribution of management accounting to the management of business strategy. By the end of the module, students will be able to describe and evaluate methods of transfer pricing within organisations, discuss the ways of analysing different factors which affect the design of management accounting systems and examine the emerging role of management accounting in modern organisations.
