Module Description: The aim of the module is to develop the student’s knowledge and understanding of the concepts of microeconomics and to apply principles and models to real world cases and situations. In addition, by the end of the module students will have an appreciation of the relevance of economics for business. The module facilitates the application of basic economic concepts, principles and models to understand and analyse the business and economic environment in which we live and work, and to appreciate the impacts of economic decisions and events.
