Module Description: This module is about the art and science of turning raw data into visible graphics. We will explore how to design and create data visualizations based on data available and tasks to be achieved. The process includes data modeling, processing, mapping, and strategic visual encoding. Students will create their own data visualizations, and learn to use Open Source data visualization tools.
