Module Description: Overall, the educational policy and leadership module at the Masters level aims to develop students' critical thinking, research, and communication skills while providing them with critical understanding of educational policies and leadership practices. Learners will be able to articulate and reflect on their own beliefs about educational policy-making and leading in education, and the relationship between policy, leadership, and student learning outcomes. Further, they will be able to undertake research in educational policy and leadership with the view to inform understanding and practice. Particular attention is paid to policy and leadership issues; policy making and leadership practices in the UAE and MENA.
