Module Description: This module aims to enable undergraduate engineering students to understand the principles of engineering drawing as well as teach them the ability to generate technical drawings. This is done to show the importance of Engineering Drawing as an important medium for engineering communication. The module seeks to develop the student’s effective utilization of computer-aided drafting software package for producing engineering drawings according to the international conventions and drawing standards. Each week the students will be exposed for a 1 hr. lecture and 5 hrs. of hands on in class exercises in order to gain practical drawing experience.
