GENG 131 Introduction to Engineering & Innovation
Department: BSc Industrial Engineering & BSc Electro-Mechanical Engineering
Module Description: This module is designed to prepare the student for an exciting career in Engineering in general as well as give the student an understanding of the different professions and specialisations in Engineering. The student will also learn about the ethical issues related to engineering practice. The student will learn the importance and different communications methods used in engineering. The student will gain the knowledge and ability to understand, relate and manipulate different types of units and parameters frequently encountered in the engineering profession.
