Module Description: This module aims to introduce students to constitutional processes by which the relationship between the individual and the state, and the relationship between the organs of the state are regulated. The module covers the nature and different types of constitutions, sources of constitutional rules, how constitutions are adopted and amended, the constitutional rules pertaining to the United Arab Emirate’s federal system of governance, the role of the judiciary, the rule of law, the separation of powers and citizenship.
