Module Description: Statistics is the science of reasoning from data. Data and statistical thinking abound in everyday life and in almost all academic fields. Students, in this module, will gain knowledge and skills of data recording and organization by means of statistical analysis. This course will focus on understanding basic statistical concepts and reasoning; probability; organizing, interpreting, and producing data; analyzing statistical arguments and communicating findings clearly; and appreciating the relevance of statistics to contemporary issues and applying solutions to statistical problems.
